Manjinder Virk plays Asha

Asha is Mohan’s elegant, long-suffering wife who works for a Heathrow airline company.  In her own way, she does love Mohan – although she wishes he were more of a breadwinner.  But the truth is: she married him not just to please her family but also to hide her darkest secret.

Manjinder played the lead role of Nasima in C4’s BAFTA-winning drama Britz and also in Neil Biswas’ award-winning Bradford, also for C4.  She was chosen by Screen International as a Star of Tomorrow 2007 and has built up an impressive list of credits in theatre and television, including the acclaimed one-woman show

Autobiography Of A Face, which she wrote and performed.
