Jamie Nuttgens

Jamie Nuttgens is a Producer, Director and Writer. He worked in touring and Rep theatre and as a Producer in Commercial Radio before moving into Film and TV. He trained at NFTS before joining BBC Drama under Michael Wearing where he worked on Jimmy McGovern’s The Lakes. After producing Thames TV’s The Bill and spin-off Burnside, Jamie left TV to develop feature film projects.
In 2000 Jamie formed Monkey In Heaven Films with Smita Bhide, developing The Blue Tower. He has recently Co-Produced three films from the cult novels of David Peace with Revolution Films, Nineteen Seventy Four, Nineteen Eighty and Nineteen Eighty Three. Jamie and Smita are currently developing projects with Warp X (makers of Donkey-Punch & Hush) and Dan Films (makers of Creep & Triangle)
Jamie is also a regular tutor in Direction and Screenwriting at the National Film & Television School and the Met Film School at Ealing Studios.
